In Episode 4, we have a conversation with Josh Heath, Outdoor Adventure Manager at The Lodge at Woodloch, about the incredible healing and restorative benefits of forest bathing, a healing practice of Japanese medicine called Shinrin-Yoku.

Forest bathing consists of immersive, meditative walks meant to calm the nervous and immune systems and boost mind-body awareness and connections with nature. A nature lover since childhood, Josh also shares how his background and introduction to Forest Bathing grew his connection to environmentalism and shares tips on what anyone can do in their daily lives to reduce their carbon footprint.

Josh Heath was born and raised in Maine and studied Park Management and Eco-Tourism at Unity College.
