Saied began his professional career in the high tech and management consulting industries. He and his wife, Vida, took an early retirement from their corporate positions in 2008 and spent a couple of  years traveling around the world. In 2011, they launched a skincare brand, Blue Beautifly, with the  mission to formulate a wholesome, natural, and  efficacious skincare that is healthful for the skin, body, and mind in a socially responsible and  environmentally friendly manner. Caring for the  planet and its inhabitants has been the bedrock of Blue Beautifly’s business model since inception and serves as the guiding principle behind every decision and action at Blue Beautifly.
