Rocco Bova, an Italian-born hotelier and a world traveller, is a passionate, energetic and enthusiastic professional, with experience from classic hotels to cutting-edge design, from business city properties to resorts operations and from golf resorts to destination wellness with over 25 years of experience. His involvement in sustainability is nothing new. The past 10 years and particularly with companies like LUX* Resorts in Mauritius, Aman Resort in Dominican Republic, Chable’ Yucatan, and more recently with Grupo Hotelero 1800 where he currently is the Managing Director, he has contributed in developing and implementing sustainable policies helping the local community, the environment and educating its guests in all the activities the resort is involved.
