Description

An innovative new behavioral health center in the Chicago area is seeking a Medical Director. We are experts at addressing traumatic stress, eating disorders, body image disturbance and relationship dissatisfaction. The medical director is the primary physician responsible for clinical oversight of all medical aspects of the treatment program. He/she/they are responsible for ensuring the quality, safety and efficacy of the treatment model, and provides medical supervision for the organization’s medical and non-therapeutic medical staff I.e. nursing/CNA’s. He/she/they will also fully participate in the treatment team including attendance at team meetings and team rounds, attendance at DBT consultation, clinical staffings, and leadership meetings. The medical director will carry a larger clinical caseload initially but ultimately their job duties will be half time clinical in nature and half time administrative in nature. Skyway aims to offer an individualized, multidisciplinary treatment team approach wherein the Medical Director will work with staff within many disciplines including therapy, nursing, dietary, and administrative professionals. Must be licensed in the state of Illinois as a physician, with a board certification in adult psychiatry and have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical leadership role in an outpatient mental health setting. Salary: $250,000-$300,000 plus bonus.
